The Gathering Community is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteers to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute their time and skills to support our community initiatives.
As a Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience and insights into our organisation's operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with various tasks and projects as directed by the Trustees.
Participate in community outreach programmes and events.
Help organise and facilitate workshops, activities, or events for participants.
Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Promote a positive environment and engage with community members effectively.
Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Organisational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks or environments.
A genuine interest in community service and helping others.
Previous experience in volunteering or related fields is an advantage but not essential.
