About Empowerment Oasis 

The Empowerment Oasis is an inclusive and accessible facility established to bring together resources, skills and support for individuals and organisations focused on the wellbeing of people with disabilities, mental health challenges and additional needs.

Our primary aim is to create a welcoming and fully accessible environment where individuals can build and sustain friendships, engage in meaningful activities and feel part of a supportive community. The space will offer dedicated sessions and areas for a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, sensory engagement, cooking, games, quizzes, bingo and entertainment. 

In addition to social activities, Empowerment Oasis will also provide opportunities for skills development, volunteering, training and supported community work placements, helping participants build confidence and independence. 

Our Beneficiaries 

Empowerment Oasis seeks to benefit a wide and diverse group, including but not limited to: 

● People with learning disabilities. 

● Individuals with additional needs. 

● People with mobility impairments. 

● Those experiencing mental health challenges. 

● Children and adults of all ages. 

● Family members and unpaid carers.

As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (1211533) The Gathering Community known as Empowerment Oasis based in Abergavenny, we are committed to delivering services that reflect the needs of our local community, promoting inclusion, resilience and wellbeing 

There is currently no service nearby that provides a service that is fully accessible that caters for people with disabilities.
